Netball...netball...and more netball!!!

http://www.888dag.com/

My first born won her first Grand Final netball match last Saturday!!! God! What a match!!! Each quarter drew each time until they finally won 27 to 23!!! It was fantastic when the bell went...actually...went on a few minutes extra time. When the first bell went, the coach of the other team was so livid as everyone thought the bell meant the match ended thus wasting a few of their seconds to hope to catch up and win (no chance!).

Then when the time was up....all the girls ran and their mums....including myself of course!!! We ran up making a fool of ourselves without a care in the world hugging our daughters first then everyone....everyone....all the players....their mums...their dads....the coach....manager....the mascot even!!! It was a fantastic moment of happiness for everyone involved especially against that team. We last played them in the Semis and again that match was amazing...drew every quarter then full time then extra time....then extra time until we finally won two points up so they played in total 1 hour and 40 minutes!!!

My baby was also selected in the reps squad!! She was abit apprehensive as none of her friends are selected. At this age her friends are the most important people in their lives. I have discussed with her that she needs to open up her world and meet more and new people as it will do her a world of good! At the moment her world is very small so hopefully this will be a start of her exploring the wonderful world we live in!!!
